Boatman, Rowold Compete in NCAA First Round

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Saint Louis' Tristan Boatman and Madeline Rowold concluded their seasons in the first round of the NCAA Track & Field Championships at John McDonnell Field at the University of Arkansas.

Rowold competed in the javelin, reaching a mark of 44.03 meters. Boatman took part in the men's hammer throw.

The event capped off decorated careers for both Boatman and Rowold. Boatman graduates as the school-record holder in the shot put (indoor & outdoor) and the hammer throw. He is one of just five Billikens to earn five or more combined indoor and outdoor A-10 medals, accomplishing the feat in just two seasons after transferring from Troy.

Rowold is the school-record holder in the javelin. She improved her placing in the A-10 Championships each year of her career, culminating with a conference championship as a senior.
