EUGENE, Ore. – Saint Louis freshman thrower Dalton Perry will compete this week at the 2026 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Perry will compete in the javelin on Thursday at 10 a.m. (CT) at Hayward Field. The USATF U20 Outdoor Championships serve as the selection event for Team USA at the 2026 World Athletics U20 Championships, which also will be held in Eugene later this summer.
Perry recently completed his first season as a Billiken and broke the school record in the javelin at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships. His throw of 61.35 meters earned a bronze medal and established a new program standard.
Perry is the seventh Billiken in school history to compete at the USATF U20 Championships and the first since Lance Mueller in 2016. He is also the first Saint Louis athlete to compete in a throwing event at the prestigious national meet.
