Billiken Athletics Posts 3.51 GPA in Spring 2026 Semester

ST. LOUIS – Student-athletes in the Saint Louis University Department of Athletics achieved an aggregate grade point average of 3.51 for the spring 2026 semester. The GPA encompasses SLU's 18 sports as well as the Billikens' cheer and dance teams.
 
"Congratulations to our Billiken student-athletes for continuing a longstanding tradition of academic excellence," Director of Athletics Chris May said. "We also extend gratitude to the faculty, administrators, coaches and support staff at SLU, as well as family members, for their constant guidance and support as they help our young women and men get the most out of the first-class educational opportunities the University offers.
 
"Our Billikens enthusiastically embrace our department's core objective of education," May said. "By doing so, they consistently emerge as leaders among their peers at the University and throughout the Atlantic 10 Conference. It is gratifying to see the competitive spirit they display in their athletic endeavors carry over into the classroom."
 
The Billiken softball team led the department for a fourth consecutive semester, posting a 3.80 GPA.
 
Also turning in GPAs above 3.5 were men's tennis (3.75), women's tennis (3.73), men's cross country (3.71), women's swimming and diving (3.71), volleyball (3.69), women's soccer (3.62), men's swimming and diving (3.62), women's track and field (3.61), women's cross country (3.58) and men's track and field (3.56).
