WASHINGTON – Saint Louis cross country runner Oliwia Wawrzyniak was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Performer of the Week Tuesday following her performance at Friday's Billiken Invitational.

Wawrzyniak helped lead the Billikens to the team championship at the Billiken Invitational, posting a winning time of 20:44.8 in the women's 6K at Quail Creek Golf Club. 

The victory marked Wawrzyniak's second consecutive individual title to open the season. She also captured the individual championship at the Fighting Illini Invitational. She also was named A10 Women's Performer of the Week following that meet.

SLU returns to action Friday, Oct. 2, for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Indiana.
