• Earned National Merit Commended Student recognition, Illinois State Scholar honors and Cary-Grove Scholar-Athlete recognition.
• Mother, Christy, competed in basketball and track & field at Monmouth College, while father, Kurt, played basketball at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
