Constantin Heider

Former Billiken Constantin Heider was named Saint Louis’ Director of Operations for men's soccer in 2020.

A native of Niederbrechen, Germany, Heider oversees many aspects of the program's day-to-day operations, including team travel, equipment, facilities and social media.

Heider is the primary content creator and manager of the Billikens' social media accounts – @slumenssoccer on X and Instagram. His creative skillset and behind-the-scenes access to the program helps deliver some of the most compelling social media accounts in NCAA soccer.

Heider has helped the Billikens reach the NCAA Championships in four of the last five seasons. The 2025 season marked a historic chapter for the Billikens as Saint Louis finished 13-3-8, captured both the Atlantic 10 regular-season and tournament championships, and advanced to the NCAA Men's College Cup. The Billikens concluded the season ranked No. 4 in the final United Soccer Coaches poll after making the program's NCAA-record 52nd NCAA Tournament appearance.

As a student-athlete, Heider appeared in 26 matches with 18 starts before injuries cut short his playing career. As a freshman in 2016, he scored a goal against VCU on Homecoming to help the Billikens earn a draw with the Rams. Later that season, he recorded a goal and an assist in a victory over St. Bonaventure while helping Saint Louis capture the Atlantic 10 regular-season championship.

Before arriving in St. Louis, Heider played for RB Leipzig in Germany and helped the club win U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga Nord/Nordost championships.

Heider earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Saint Louis University in 2020 and a master's degree in supply chain management in 2022.
