Saint Louis Billikens Athletics

Santiago Castillo Venegas is in his first season as Graduate Student Manager on the Saint Louis University men's soccer staff.

In the position, Castillo Venegas assists the program in several areas, most notably film breakdown of games and training sessions.

Castillo Venegas joined Saint Louis FC and St. Louis Scott Gallagher as Director of Video Analysis in 2015. In addition, he served as an academy Assistant Coach.

A native of Bogota, Colombia, Castillo Venegas played collegiate soccer at Lindenwood-Belleville, where he also earned a Sports Management degree. Castillo Venegas is currently pursing a master's degree in the School of Education at Saint Louis University. He also holds a Master en Preparación Física y Readaptación en Fútbol from Universidad Pablo de Olavide.

Castillo Venegas has a United States Soccer Federation D license, and is currently enrolled in USSF C license program. He also holds a UEFA B coaching license.
