Assistant coach Austin Mayer is in his fifth season as a member of the Saint Louis University swimming and diving coaching staff. Mayer began his tenure with the Billikens as a part-time coach, became the program’s graduate assistant when he initiated studies for an MBA degree at the University, and was elevated to assistant coach during the 2023-24 season.

Mayer is a 2020 graduate of Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and minors in actuarial science and mathematics. He was a four-year member of the Bulldogs’ swimming and diving team following his graduation from St. Louis’ Lindbergh High School.

Mayer completed work on his MBA at Saint Louis in 2024.
