Earned four varsity letters at Marian, competing primarily in the 100 fly, 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM … team captain as a junior and senior … garnered Academic All-America plaudits … Academic All-State and Academic All-Metro as a junior and senior … second-team Midwestern All-Academic … swam on Marian teams that won three state titles and finished second in the state once … on the Crusaders’ all-time top 10 lists, graduated third in the 200 medley relay (1:45.11), fifth in the 200 free relay (1:35.83), sixth in the 100 fly (57.63) and ninth in the 100 back (58.28) … competed in club swimming with Greater Omaha Aquatics and ranked among the club’s top 10 in several events … also lettered three years in tennis … No. 2 doubles state runner-up and metro champion as a sophomore, eighth in the state and third in the metro at No. 1 doubles as a junior, and third in the state and metro champion at No. 2 doubles as a senior … collected Scholar Athlete of the Year accolades … Academic All-State as a senior and three-time Academic All-Metro … helped Marian capture two metro championships.
