Ethan Chapman was hired as a Graduate Assistant Coach prior to the 2021-22 track and field season. At SLU, he is coaching the vertical jumps, multis and hurdles.
Chapman graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2016 and was a decorated student-athlete on the Owls' track and field teams. He was a national qualifier in the Heptathlon and Decathlon. Chapman received All-Region awards on six occasions for his performances in the Decathlon, hurdles and jumps.Â
Additionally, Chapman was recognized for his work in the classroom. He was named to the NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll six different semesters for achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Chapman received the David McHale Endowed Scholarship for achievement both on the track and in the classroom.
Chapman graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management Information Systems concentration degree.Â
