Burns' Performance List (TFRRS)

2022-23 • Senior
Cross Country
• Ran in five meets, including the NCAA Regional for the first time. 
• Posted a top 5M time in his collegiate career (26:25.9) at the A-10 Championship.
• Had an 8K PR of 26:03.3 at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational, good for 39th place.

Indoor Track and Field
• Member of the Billikens' 4x800-meter relay squad that scored with a sixth-place finish at the A-10 Championships.
• Also ran the 800 meters and the mile.

Outdoor Track and Field
• Primarily ran the 800 meters for the Billikens.
• Had an 800-meter PR of 1:55.13 at the A-10 Championship, finishing 19th overall.

2021-22 • Junior
Cross Country
• Competed in four meets, including the A-10 Championships.
• Had a top 8K time of 26:21.7 at the Bradley Pink Classic.
• Helped the Billikens to a runner-up team finish at the A-10 Championships.

Indoor Track and Field
• Competed in middle-distance and relay events for the Billikens.
• Member of Billikens’ Distance Medley Relay and 4x800-meter relay teams that scored at the A-10 Championships with fourth- and sixth-place finishes, respectively.
• Turned in a PR in the mile of 4:16.55 at the Gladstein Invitational.
• Ran a top 1,000-meter time of 2:32.02 at the Nebraska Graduate Classic while also running a leg on the first-place Distance Medley Relay.

Outdoor Track and Field
• Competed in a variety of events for SLU.
• Ran a leg on the Billikens’ 4x800-meter relay team that scored at the A-10 meet with an eighth-place finish.
• Had PRs at the Kentucky Invitational in both the 800 meters (1:56.04) and 1,500 meters (3:57.09).
 
2020-21 • Sophomore
Cross Country
• Ran in all three meets for the Billikens.
• Had top 30 finishes at both the EIU Open and Golden Eagle Invitational.
• Placed 76th overall at the A-10 Championships with a five-mile time of 26:32.9.

Indoor Track and Field
• Season not held due to COVID-19.

Outdoor Track and Field
• Competed in six meets and a variety of events for the Billikens.
• Member of the Billikens’ 4x800-meter relay that scored at the A-10 Championships with a fifth-place finish.
• Also ran the 800 meters at the A-10s and PR’d with a time of 1:57.98.
• Posted a PR of 15:57.60 in the 5,000 meters at the Billiken Invitational.
• Had a top 1,500-meter time of 4:01.41 at the Sycamore Open.

2019-20 • Freshman
Cross Country
• Competed in the Gans Creek Classic and posted an 8K time of 28:30.1.

Indoor Track and Field
• Did not compete.

Outdoor Track and Field
• Season not held due to COVID-19.

PRIOR TO SLU
• Prepped at Creighton Prep in Omaha, Nebraska.
• Recorded top times of 50.7 in the 400 meters, 1:56 in the 800 meters and 4:31 in the 1,600 meters on the track.
• Registered a top time of 16:19 over 5K in cross country.
• All-State and All-Metro in the 800 meters, 4x800-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay.
• Helped team to a state cross country and track and field appearance.
• Earned second honors in the classroom all four years at Creighton Prep.
