Ashley Polacek joined Saint Louis as the graduate assistant for women's basketball in October 2024.
Polacek has spent the past year working as a basketball skills trainer and strength and conditioning coach at Larry Hughes Basketball Academy and ACE Performance Lab, respectively.
Polacek finished her collegiate career at Appalachian State University (2017-2020), where she averaged 10.7 points, 3.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. She is a WBI Champion and was named to the Hatter Day Classic All-Tournament Team. Polacek ranks 4th in program history for single single assists (158). Prior to App State, Polacek played college hoops at the University of Central Florida (2015-2017), where she made an appearance in the WNIT and led the conference in assists her freshman season.
After college, Polacek played a couple stints of pro ball in Romania and for the St. Louis Surge.
Polacek has a Bachelor's degree and Masters of Exercise Science - Strength and Conditioning from Appalachian State University.
