Debbie Kirch joined Saint Louis University in 2023 and serves as Assistant Director of Athletics for Student Services.
Kirch brings more than three decades of collegiate athletics experience to SLU, including leadership roles in NCAA compliance, student-athlete academic services and student development.
Prior to joining the Billikens, Kirch spent nine years at Northern Kentucky University, most recently as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services and Senior Woman Administrator. She oversaw NCAA compliance, athletics academic services and student-athlete development while serving as a sport administrator for women's basketball and women's golf.
Before her promotion at Northern Kentucky, Kirch served as Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services, overseeing the department's academic support unit and helping student-athletes achieve success in the classroom.
Kirch also served as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Services and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In that role, she managed NCAA compliance operations and student-athlete academic support services.
Prior to her career in athletics administration, Kirch was Green Bay's head volleyball coach from 1997-2012. She led the Phoenix to the 2003 Horizon League Tournament championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance, earning AVCA Regional Coach of the Year honors.
Kirch earned a Master of Education in physical education from Mississippi State University and a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Denver.
Debbie lives in Maryville, Illinois with her husband Dan and enjoys traveling, hiking and reading.
