Kurby joined Saint Louis University Athletics in August 2023 as an External Relations Intern, where he assisted with ESPN+ broadcasts, marketing initiatives, on-court promotions, and theme night execution. Following the success of his internship, SLU created his current full-time role in July 2024.
In his current position, Kurby helps manage season ticket memberships, mini plans, and single-game ticket sales for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball. In addition to his ticketing responsibilities, he oversees and produces ESPN+ broadcasts for Baseball, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball.
Prior to joining SLU Athletics, Kurby gained professional sports experience working in Ticket Sales with the St. Louis Cardinals from May 2023 - June 2024 and in Video Operations for the Iowa Cubs in 2022.
Kurby graduated from Central College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and a minor in Communication. While at Central, he was also a four-year member of the college baseball program.
Outside of work, Kurby is a proud husband to Paige and father to his daughter, Riley.
