Saint Louis Billikens Athletics

Hughey joined the Billikens in the summer of 2016 after completing her playing career at Miami (Ohio). She comes to Saint Louis with experience coaching both at the high school and club level. 

Hughey was a three-year letterwinner for the Redhawks before an injury ended her playing career. After her injury, she was in charge of film and help organize travel and practice for the Miami field hockey team. 

In high school, she earned three letters at Fallbrook Union High School in Fallbrook, Cali. Hughey led the California Interscholastic Federation San Diego Section in all three scoring categories while establishing school single-season records for goals (28), assists (30) and points (86) in 2010. She named All-CIF San Diego in both 2009 and 2010. Also participated in the USA Field Hockey Futures Program from 2008-10 and was selected to participate in the ASICS Premium High Performance League with the USA National Team and other International players in 2011. Hughey was selected to the National Futures Championship in 2009 and 2010 and to the Junior Olympics in 2009.
