Petey Cautilli assumed his current position of Manager, Business Development in March of 2025. Cautilli began his tenure at Saint Louis University in February 2017 as Facilities & Events Manager before serving as the Marketing & Fan Engagement Manager in September 2019. In December 2021, Cautilli transitioned to Billikens Sports Properties where he served as the Coordniator, Partnership Services prior to his role as the Associate, Business Development in June 2023.
In his current role, Cautilli develops customized partnership solutions that support Saint Louis University Athletics. He works closely with local and regional businesses to deliver integrated marketing strategies that elevate the fan experience and strengthen the Billikens brand.

As the Marketing & Fan Engagement Manager, Cautilli executed on-campus marketing and promotions, managed the Billiken Kids Club, supervised the SLUnatics student fan group and coordinated appearances by the Billiken mascot. In addition, he assisted with event management, leadership of the student worker staff, creation of graphics and social media content, and video production.

In his first SLU position, Cautilli was responsible for all facilities operations including scheduling, maintenance and communication with campus partners. He was the primary event manager for all sports, managed the student worker staff and assisted with capital projects and facilities branding projects.Â

Before arriving at Saint Louis, Cautilli earned a master’s degree in public administration at Northern Kentucky University while serving as the graduate assistant for facilities in the NKU athletics department. As a GA, he assisted with facilities operations, event management and leadership of the student worker staff.

Cautilli graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in sport administration and a minor in economics. While a student, he worked on the athletics grounds crew, interned with the sports photography department and founded the club baseball team.

Cautilli is married to his wife Samantha and they have two sons, Peter and Silas.
