Zach Pogue became Facilities and Events Manager for Saint Louis University athletics in November 2019. Pogue oversees operations of athletics facilities, coordinates and executes pregame, in-game, and postgame activities, assists with planning and scheduling of events, and co-manages the department’s student workers.

Pogue gained his first experience in athletics as an event management intern at Bellarmine University during his undergraduate days. He also served as a volunteer soccer coach at his high school alma mater, Chaminade College Prep, and as a goalkeeper coach for Bright Lights Goalkeeping in Louisville, Kentucky.

A three-year starting goalkeeper on the Bellarmine soccer team, Pogue set the school record for career goals against average and finished among the top five in school history in career shutouts. He was a four-time selection to the Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Academic team, led the Knights to two consecutive GLVC men’s soccer Sportsmanship Awards, and served as Bellarmine’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee president as a senior.

Pogue graduated cum laude from Bellarmine with Bachelor of Arts degrees in business administration and Spanish. He earned a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in management, also at Bellarmine.

Pogue enjoys soccer, pickleball, board games, and trying different restaurants and cooking with his wife, Mary Ringwald.
