Former Billiken Stephanie Hollis will serve as assistant coach for the Saint Louis University women’s tennis team while completing work on a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Hollis concluded her four-year SLU career with a 76-31 singles record and a 60-40 doubles mark. She is third in singles wins and tied for third in doubles victories on the Billikens’ career lists.

Hollis claimed Atlantic 10 All-Conference first-team plaudits as a junior, second-team honors as a sophomore and senior and Most Outstanding Rookie Performer recognition as a freshman. She posted a 26-4 singles record in her freshman campaign, tying for third on Saint Louis’ all-time chart for singles wins in a season. Hollis was named the Billikens’ Most Valuable Player as a junior and collected the team’s Spirit Award as a senior.

Also an outstanding student, Hollis earned a place on the A-10 All-Academic team as a junior and senior and was an ITA Scholar-Athlete in her senior season. She was named to the A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (minimum 3.5 semester grade point average) four times.
