Brooke Urzendowski

Former Saint Louis University student-athlete Brooke Urzendowski serves as the Billikens’ graduate assistant while pursuing a master’s degree in public health.

A four-year letter winner for the Billikens, Urzendowski registered a 65-39 singles record and a 54-43 doubles mark. She concluded her career tied for eighth in doubles victories and ninth in singles wins on SLU’s all-time lists.

As a senior, Urzendowski led the 2014-15 Billikens in overall winning percentage (28-11, .718), overall dual-meet winning percentage (17-4, .810) and dual-meet doubles winning percentage (7-1, .875). Her 8-1 combined record vs. Atlantic 10 Conference opponents also led the team.

Urzendowski was the Bills’ leader in overall doubles wins (18), dual-meet doubles wins (13) and dual-meet doubles winning percentage (.619) in her junior season. She made a strong collegiate debut as a freshman, leading the team in singles wins (21), singles winning percentage (.656), dual-meet singles wins (15), dual-meet singles winning percentage (.682), dual-meet combined wins (26) and dual-meet combined winning percentage (.605). Her 21 singles wins are tied for 10th on SLU’s all-time single-season chart.

Urzendowski also excelled academically. She made the A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll (minimum 3.5 grade point average) in seven of eight semesters and was a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete.

Urzendowski is a 2015 magna cum laude graduate of SLU with a bachelor’s degree in public health.
