Director of Annual Giving and Planned Events Margo Lubus has been a member of the Saint Louis University athletics department since September 1996.
Lubus leads the day-to-day operations of the Billiken Club including solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of annual giving and renewals. She coordinates fundraising events, special events and alumni events for all 18 Billiken sports programs, the biannual Billiken Hall of Fame event, and basketball pregame events.
Lubus arrived at SLU after working in preschools and at Catering St. Louis. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education at Rockhurst University, where she played on the university’s first women’s intercollegiate basketball team, and spent seven years teaching in the St. Louis parochial school system.
Lubus and her husband, John, an avid SLU basketball fan, are the parents of daughter Lauren and sons Mark and Kevin.
