ST. LOUIS - Saint Louis men's tennis improved to 3-5 on the season with a pair of victories over Eastern Illinois and Chicago State Sat., Feb. 26. The Billikens began the weekend's action on Friday with a 7-0 loss to Creighton before bouncing back with the back-to-back wins.

After a rough stretch in his last three outings, senior Bill Tanurchis (Eureka, Mo./Jefferson College) posted two victories at the No. 1 singles position, defeating Lukasz Pluta of EIU 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 and Anand McKheejee of Chicago State 6-3, 6-1. G.T. Cozad (St. Louis, Mo./Purdue) and Mike Leise (Omaha, Neb./Creighton Prep) recorded wins at the Nos. 2 and 4 positions, respectively.

The Billikens are off until Wed., Mar. 15 when they travel to Evansville, Ind.
