CINCINNATI (AP) - Justin Doellman scored 24 points, including making all three of his 3-point attempts, to lead Xavier to a 76-57 victory Wednesday over Saint Louis.
Stanley Burrell added 19 points for the Musketeers (17-7, 7-3 Atlantic 10), who improved to 61 percent shooting in the second half from 39 percent in the first as they pulled away from a 32-28 halftime lead.
Kevin Lisch, also 3-for-3 from behind the arc, had 14 points and Tommie Liddell added 10 for Saint Louis (15-9, 5-5).
Doellman made 7 points of a 13-2 run that pulled Xavier away to a 55-38 lead with 11:48 left. The Musketeers stretched the lead to as many as 21 points in the final 2:28.
Xavier made 16 points off turnovers to 9 for the Billikens, and hit 21 of 30 free throws, compared with 8-for-13 on foul shots for Saint Louis.
