ST. LOUIS - Drew Feder was a double winner for Saint Louis in the Billikens' 5-2 victory over Chicago State Friday at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.

Feder blanked Dave Regus 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and teamed with Joe Flanagan for an 8-2 No. 1 doubles triumph over Ankit Chopra and Armaan Choudhary.

Nishaad Balachandran defeated Viet Lam 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles, and the Billikens won by forfeit at Nos. 5 and 6. Vuk Poledica and Patrick Kella captured an 8-1 win over Lam and Regus at No. 2 doubles.

"It was nice to play outside and even nicer to get a win," assistant coach Adam Reeb said. "Today's match was the first of three this weekend, which we're considering sort of a mini Atlantic 10 Championship weekend. We got off to a good start, and we're looking forward to playing a tough Drake team next."

The Billikens and Bulldogs meet Saturday. Match time at Dwight Davis Tennis Center is 10 a.m.
