"Katie did a
really great job and came up with some big saves," head coach Kat Mertz said. "Alli Reimer and Jenny
Hummert also
played very well.
"I'm proud of
our players, they showed some fight tonight," Mertz said. "Butler is a tough
team to play on their home field, and to come in and get a point on the road,
we'll take it. I think we learned and grew a lot as a team in this game, and
now we're ready to carry that over to the Xavier game at home next Friday."
