Billikens, Bonnies Play to 2-2 Draw

OLEAN, N.Y. – Saint Louis junior forward Kingsley Bryce recorded a goal and an assist as Saint Louis and St. Bonaventure played to a 2-2 tie Friday afternoon in Atlantic 10 Conference men's soccer action at McGraw-Jennings Field.

SLU remains unbeaten in league play with a 2-0-2 A-10 record and is now 8-3-2 overall. St. Bonaventure moves to 1-2-1 in the A-10 and 7-6-2 overall.

Bryce, the reigning A-10 Player of the Week, continues to impress. Dating back to Oct. 11, he has had a hand in the Billikens' last seven goals. On Friday, he assisted on Robert Kristo's goal in the 37th minute, which gave SLU a 1-0 lead.

Bryce scored a goal of his own just one minute, 29 seconds into the second half. Assisting on the play was Filip Pavisic. Pavisic also assisted on Kristo's goal

Saint Louis maintained its 2-0 lead until late in regulation, when St. Bonaventure found the back of the net twice in the final five minutes. SBU's Nicholas Perillo scored at the 86:08 mark, and Daniel Iannacito netted the equalizer with 27 seconds remaining in regulation.

SLU keeper Nick Shackelford made nine saves.

The Billikens are back in action Sunday morning, when they take on Duquesne in a 11 a.m. (CT) kickoff in Pittsburgh.
