Jarrett Scores, Bills Fall at Illinois State

Box Score NORMAL, Ill.– Senior defender Jessie Jarrett scored her first goal of the season in Saint Louis' 4-1 loss to Illinois State Tuesday afternoon at Adelaide Street Field.

Jarrett, who tied for game-high honors with a career-high four shots, gave the Billikens (1-6-1) a 1-0 lead with a tally at the 14:20 mark. Sophomore forward Livi Logan-Wood assisted.

Later in the first half, however, Illinois State (5-4) netted three goals in a span of 8:02. The Redbirds added an insurance tally in the 77th minute.

The Billikens return home to host UT Martin Friday, Sept. 20. Game time at Robert R. Hermann Stadium is 7 p.m.
