The Basics

Junior midfielder Jair Minors scored twice to propel the Billikens to a 3-1 victory over Central Arkansas Saturday night in front of a Homecoming crowd of 5,483 at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.

Sophomore defender Max Karcher opened the scoring for the Billikens when he connected on a corner kick in the 18th minute.

Both of Minors' goals were assisted by junior forward Joe Saad. 

The Billikens improve to 4-2 with the win, while Central Arkansas dips to 1-7.

The Billikens out-shot the Bears 19-9 … the goals were Minors' second and third of his career and he was credited with his first-career game winner … for Karcher, it was his first goal of the year and the second of his career … it was the fourth straight win for the Billikens on Homecoming … SLU is 4-0 all-time against Central Arkansas … Graydon's assist was the 22nd of his career, which ranks him in the top three in the NCAA in that category among active Division I players.
