The Basics
Playing in front of the second-largest crowd in Hermann Stadium history, Saint Louis fell 3-2 against Indiana Wednesday night in double overtime.
The Billikens (4-3) received a goal from junior midfielder Jair Minors in the first half, but Indiana (6-3-1) pulled out to a 2-1 halftime lead with a pair of tallies.
Freshman forward Anthony Brown thrilled the crowd of 6,062 with a goal in the waning minutes of regulation to send the game into overtime. Both teams had quality chances in the extra session, but it was Indiana's Kyle Sparks who scored the golden goal and lift the Hoosiers to the win.
