A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS (click here for up-to-date statistics)
• Top-seeded Saint Louis meets fourth-seeded George Mason in an Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Championship semifinal Friday, Nov. 2. First whistle at Baujan Field in Dayton, Ohio, is scheduled for noon (CT).
• The SLU-George Mason winner advances to the tournament title game Sunday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. (CT) to play the winner of Friday's second semifinal between No. 2 VCU and No. 3 Saint Joseph's. The tournament winner earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, which begins next weekend.
• Saint Louis appears in this week's "Also Receiving Votes" section of the United Soccer Coaches national poll with two points. The Billikens remained at No. 3 in the East Region. Georgetown (15-0-3) is No. 1 in the East, followed by Princeton (10-3-2), SLU (16-3-1), Butler (11-6-1), Penn (13-1-1), Saint Joseph's (14-4-2), VCU (15-3-0), Providence (10-6-3), George Mason (14-5-0) and Xavier (10-7-3).
• The Billikens have captured 12 consecutive victories, setting school records for longest winning streak and longest unbeaten streak. It also is the longest active winning streak in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
• With 16 wins, the 2018 Billikens are tied with the 2005 Saint Louis team for the school record.
• SLU's 45 wins over the past three seasons are the most among A-10 women's soccer teams.
• The A-10 Championship quarterfinal win over Dayton improved the Billikens' record to 26-1-4 in their last 31 games at Robert R. Hermann Stadium, a stretch that dates to the final home game of the 2015 campaign. They are 10-0-1 at home this season.
• SLU's regular-season conference crown is the fourth in the 23-year history of the program. The Billikens finished first in Conference USA in 1999 and 2004, and they claimed the 2005 A-10 title in their first season in the league.
• The Bills' 10 conference wins this season are a school record, breaking the previous mark of nine (Conference USA) set in 2004.
• The Billikens finished unbeaten at home in regular-season conference play for a third consecutive season. SLU was 5-0 vs. A-10 foes at Hermann Stadium in 2016, 4-0-1 a year ago and 5-0 this season.
• With its 3-0 win over Dayton in the A-10 quarterfinals, Saint Louis established school records for consecutive shutouts (six) and consecutive shutout minutes (now 610:19). Dayton was the last team to hit the target against SLU, scoring in the 20th minute when the teams met Oct. 4.
• The Billikens tied the school record for shutouts in a season (13) in the Dayton match. The record was set in 2003 and matched in 2004 and 2017.
• The Billikens are showing the same kind of balance they displayed last year when 24 different player combinations accounted for the team's 33 assisted goals. This season, 25 different player combinations have produced SLU's 33 assisted goals.
• SLU has decisive advantages over its opponents in goals (43-10), shots (399-100), shots on goal (188-54) and corner kicks (155-38). Including the A-10 quarterfinal contest, the Billikens have outscored conference opponents 26-3.
• SLU's 399 shots are a school record, and the Billikens are on track to set the school mark for fewest shots allowed. That record is 141, set in 1999.
• Saint Louis has outscored its opponents 25-4 in the second half.
• Maddie Pokorny (7G, 1A) and Hannah Friedrich (6G, 3A) led the Billikens in scoring against A-10 opponents in the regular season with 15 points apiece.
• Hannah Friedrich (10G, 7A) leads Saint Louis in points (27) and assists. Friedrich's goals and assists totals are fourth highest, and her points total is sixth highest, among NCAA Division I freshmen.
• Now tied for fourth on SLU's single-season points list, Friedrich needs just three points to break Jamie Perry's record of 29 (2002, 2003). She also is tied for sixth on the Billikens' single-season goals list.
• On the Billikens' career lists, Maddie Pokorny is third in shots (217), tied for eighth in goals (19) and tied for ninth in game-winning goals (seven); Olivia Silverman is sixth in shutouts (11), tied for seventh in wins (15) and 10th in minutes (1,822); Courtney Reimer is tied for sixth in game-winning assists (six) and tied for ninth in assists (15); and Evie Lavelle is tied for 10th in game-winning assists (five).
