Billikens Post Road Win at Seton Hall

NEWARK, N.J. – Saint Louis senior guard Dion Wiley scored a game-high 17 points and freshman forward Carte'Are Gordon added 14 points as the Billikens registered a 66-64 road win at Seton Hall on Saturday.

The Billikens move to 4-0 with the win, while Seton Hall dips to 1-2.

Wiley hit all three of his shots from the arc and was 4-of-5 from the field. Gordon was 6-of-10 from the floor as the Billikens shot 47.6 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from long range.

Senior guard Tramaine Isabell Jr. also scored in double figures with 13 points. Senior guard Javon Bess led the way with 13 rebounds.

The Billikens built a 12-point second-half lead, but Seton Hall rallied to within one late in the game. The Pirates' Sandro Mamukelashvili had an open look for what would have been a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, but the shot was off the mark and SLU came away with the victory.

SLU returns to action on Wednesday when it faces Pitt at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Game time is 11 a.m. (CT).
