GAME DETAILS
• Kansas State scored in the 82nd minute and held on to defeat Saint Louis 1-0 Friday night at K-State Soccer Complex in the season opener for both teams.
• The Billikens controlled play in the first half, out-shooting the Wildcats 8-2 overall and 4-1 in shots on goal.
• K-State turned the tables in the second half, however, posting advantages of 7-3 in total shots and 6-0 in shots on frame. The Wildcats also earned all five of their corner kicks following intermission, although the Billikens chalked up a 7-5 edge for the game.
