Erin McClelland scored her first collegiate goal, but tenth-ranked Saint Joseph's scored four first-quarter goals as the Hawks upended the Billikens 7-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference field hockey action on Sunday.
The Billikens slip to 0-10 overall and 0-4 in the A-10, while Saint Joseph's improves to 10-1Â and 3-0 in the league.
McClelland's goal came in the 21st minute off a penalty corner.
The Billikens return to action next Saturday when they play host to Richmond at Sportport International. Game time is noon.
