A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS
• Atlantic 10 Conference regular-season and tournament champion Saint Louis begins its NCAA Championship journey Sunday, Nov. 17, in a rematch with Notre Dame. Kickoff at Alumni Stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana, is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST / noon CST.
• In the first-ever meeting of the teams, the Fighting Irish edged the Billikens 1-0 in the season opener Aug. 22 at Alumni Stadium.
• Saint Louis is making a second consecutive and fourth overall NCAA Championship appearance. SLU is 2-3 in tournament play.
• The Billikens bring a school-record 16-game unbeaten streak (14-0-2) into the NCAA Championship. SLU allowed just five goals in those 16 games.
• This is the second straight year that Saint Louis' first-round opponent is a team the Billikens met in the regular season. SLU played a 2018 opening-round game at Kansas after facing the Jayhawks earlier.
• With appearances in Sunday's contest, Alli Klug and Evie Lavelle will tie the Saint Louis career record for games played (86). In addition, the Bills will equal the school mark of 23 games in a season set last year while seeking their 18th victory, which would match the SLU record also established last season.
• Saint Louis has tied its school record of 13 shutouts thanks in large part to Alli Klug. Earlier this month, Klug became the first player in A-10 women's soccer history to win a major postseason award three times when she was named Defensive Player of the Year for a third straight season.
Courtney Reimer also made history by becoming the first Billiken to garner the A-10 Midfielder of the Year award.
• Saint Louis' top two scorers have caught fire at the right time. Hannah Friedrich has 13 points (4G, 5A) over the last five games, while Courtney Reimer has four goals over the last four contests.
• Friedrich is SLU's top point scorer for a second straight season. She has 28 points on 11 goals (team high) and six assists (ties team high). Reimer is second in goals (seven) and points (16). Evie Lavelle (2G, 6A) and Annabelle Copeland (5G) have 10 points apiece.
• Saint Louis is No. 38 in this week's NCAA RPI, its highest ranking of the season. SLU has played three teams in the RPI top 40 – Oklahoma State (No. 11), Louisville (No. 28) and Notre Dame (No. 34).
• The Billikens have enjoyed consistency in their starting lineup, utilizing the same first 11 in each of their last 13 games.
• A deep, balanced SLU team has seen 30 different player combinations account for its 34 assisted goals this season. Fifteen Billikens have scored at least one goal, and 17 have tallied at least one point.
• SLU has impressive advantages over its opponents in goals (45-10), shots (361-165), shots on goal (160-72) and corner kicks (137-52).
• Saint Louis leads the A-10 in goals against average (0.45), save percentage (.859), shutouts (13) and corner kicks (137).
Mary Niehaus leads the A-10 in GAA (0.30), save percentage (.905) and shutouts (11).
Hannah Friedrich leads the A-10 in game-winning goals (school-record seven) and is fourth in shots per game (3.18), sixth in points per game (1.27), tied for sixth in goals per game (0.50), ninth in shots on goal per game (1.36) and tied for ninth in assists per game (0.27).

A LOOK AT NOTRE DAME
• Following a 6-0 start, Notre Dame is 4-7-2 in its last 13 games.
• The Fighting Irish tied for eighth in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 4-4-2 record.
• Junior midfielder Sammi Fisher leads Notre Dame with 16 points (6G, 4A).
• Junior forward Eva Hurm has 13 points (5G, 3A), while sophomore midfielder Luisa Delgado has 12 points (4G, 4A).
• Senior Brooke Littman (1.17 GAA, .636 save percentage) and sophomore Mattie Interian (1.00, .714) have shared goalkeeping duties.
