ST. LOUIS -- Hannah Friedrich and Courtney Reimer scored for Saint Louis in a 2-0 win over SIUE Tuesday night at Hermann Stadium in the Billikens' lone exhibition game of 2019.

Friedrich tallied an unassisted goal at the 29:32 mark, and SLU carried the 1-0 advantage into the locker room at intermission.

Reimer made it 2-0 in the 60th minute, netting a header off a long service from Anna Walsh.

The Billikens earned a 17-6 advantage in total shots and a 6-1 edge in shots on goal.

Saint Louis begins the regular season Thursday, Aug. 22, at Notre Dame. Kickoff in South Bend, Indiana, is slated for 6 p.m. Central. The Bills play their home opener vs. Indiana State Sunday, Aug. 25, at 1 p.m.
