THE BASICS
• Saint Louis saw its four-game winning streak snap Tuesday afternoon, falling 22-4 at Oklahoma State.
• Senior Jake Garella tallied three hits for the Billikens (10-5), going 3-for-4 with one run scored.
• Oklahoma State improved to 12-5 with the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Oklahoma State extended its 5-0 second inning lead to 12-0 with four runs in the third and another three in the fifth.
• Colten Schild tripled in Kyle Fitzgerald to put the Billikens on the board in the top of the sixth. Matt Happ then singled in Fitzgerald for the second SLU run.
• The Cowboys picked up an additional seven runs in their half of the sixth.
• Khyle Radcliffe's first hit as a Billiken drove in Garella in the top of the seventh. Shortly after, Colin Bergmann brought home Cam Redding with a sacrifice fly, bringing SLU's run total to four.
• OKST tacked on another three runs in the bottom of the eighth.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Happ and Bergmann both picked up RBIs in the game, with Happ finishing 2-for-5 and Bergmann going 1-for-3.
• Trevor Harris tossed a scoreless first inning for the Billikens, striking out one.
