ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis men's basketball has checked in at No. 25 in the latest AP Top 25, which was released today. It is the third consecutive week the Billikens have been ranked.
Â
SLU, which remains on pause due to COVID-19 protocols, sits at 7-1 but has not played since a Dec. 23 win against Kansas City at Chaifetz Arena.
Â
The Billikens' top wins have come against LSU and NC State. Their lone loss was a nine-point defeat at No. 17 Minnesota.
Â
This is Saint Louis' first time ranked in the AP Top 25 since the 2013-14 season, when the Billikens were ranked in 10 different weeks. Saint Louis reached No. 10 in weeks 15 and 16 that year, and was ranked No. 25 in the 2013-14 final ranking.Â
Â
In all, this is the 19th season that the Billikens have been ranked in the AP Top 25. SLU's best ranking was at No. 1 in 1949 in the inaugural AP Top 25 poll.
