RECAP
Lotte Teunissen and Lauren Pendergast each found the back of the cage for the Billikens, but Saint Louis fell 5-2 to La Salle in an Atlantic 10 Conference game Friday afternoon at DeVincent Field in Philadelphia, Pa.

The Billikens moved to 1-10 on the season and 0-3 in A-10 play, while La Salle went to 5-6, 1-2.

La Salle jumped out to a three-goal lead with one tally in first quarter and two in the second.

Teunissen's third goal of the season at 24:51 cut SLU's deficit to 3-1 at halftime.

The Explorers picked up a fourth goal just two minutes into the third quarter.

Pendergast responded with her second score of the year at 37:43.

La Salle added a goal four minutes into the fourth quarter and held on to take the game 5-2.

Pendergast and Teunissen each fired two shots on goal in the game, while Grace Golembiewski added one.

Up next, the Billikens will remain in Philadelphia, Pa., for a contest at No. 9 Saint Joseph's on Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.
