Multiple Billikens Post Season and Career Bests in Win at Fordham

MATCH DETAILS
• Saint Louis posted 16.5 total blocks on its way to a five-set victory over Fordham in an Atlantic 10 Conference match Friday night at Rose Hill Gymnasium in Bronx, N.Y.
• SLU won its fifth in a row, improving to 17-9 on the season and 10-3 in league play, while the Rams moved to 7-16, 4-8.
• Maya Taylor's 22nd kill of the match solidified the win in set five and moved her past Julie Tretten for third all-time on the Billikens' career kills list (1,781).
• Carlie Rodgers became just the ninth Billiken to ever record 32 digs in a match. That number ties her for fifth in SLU's history in an individual contest.
• SLU's 16.5 blocks were the second most its posted this season and the ninth time the Billikens have had double-digit blocks.

BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Taylor's 22 kills were a match high and the 20th 20-kill contest of her career. The senior added 13 digs for her 18th double-double of her career.
• Rodgers' 32 digs were a career best for the sophomore. She's the first Billiken to reach that number in a single match since Mackenzie Long in 2016.
• Delaney Rice tallied a career-high 18 kills. She's now posted at least 14 kills in each contest of the Billikens' five-match winning streak.
• Cece Fitz recorded seven kills on a .500 hitting percentage, while also adding a career-best eight blocks.
• Jillian Mattingly also had eight blocks, while adding 15 kills on a .393 hitting percentage.
• Cayce Chaykowsky had a season-high 14 digs in the contest, along with one service ace.
