GAME DETAILS
• Saint Louis came up short in a back-and-forth game against SIUE Thursday night at First Community Arena in Edwardsville, Ill., falling 63-57 to the Cougars. The game saw 14 lead changes and eight tie scores.
• The Billikens moved to 3-6 on the season, while SIUE went to 4-4.
• Six Billikens found the scoring column in the first quarter. Both teams traded 6-0 runs in the frame, but after five lead changes, SLU held a 14-13 edge at the end of one.
• The Cougars outscored SLU 13-12 in the second period, leading to a 26-26 tie score at the half. Peyton Kennedy (seven) and Sevval Gul (five) combined for all of SLU's points in the quarter.
• SIUE led 49-31 at the end of the third quarter, after tallying a 15-13 advantage in the frame. Natalie McNeal collected a team-best seven points in the period.
• After facing a five-point deficit in the first minute of the final period, Ciaja Harbison scored seven-straight points, leading the Billikens to a 9-0 run and a 48-44 advantage.
• A Harbison jumper put SLU ahead 54-51 with 2:53 left in the game, but a 10-0 run by SIUE pushed the Cougars to victory.

• McNeal posted her first career double-double, with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
• Harbison tallied 11 of her 13 points in the second half.
• Marisa Warren tied a career best with seven assists.
• Gul neared a double-double with nine points and a career-high nine rebounds.
