• Ryan Hernandez led off the second inning with a solo shot to right field, giving the Billikens an early 1-0 lead.
• Tyler Tolve answered for Kennesaw State with a solo home run in its half of the second frame.
• The Owls took a lead 2-1 in the bottom of the third, scoring on an RBI single.
• SLU used four singles in the top of the fourth to regain the scoring edge, 3-2.

• Redding connected on three hits, finishing 3-5 with two RBIs and one run scored.
• Colten Schild reached base four times and extended his hit streak to 11, dating back to last season. He went 1-2 with two runs, one RBI and three walks.
• Hernandez finished the day 2-5 with two runs, one RBI and one home run.
• Charlie Sheehan picked up the win, allowing just three hits and one unearned run in 2.2 innings of work. He struck out three Owl batters.
• Reid Hendrickson slammed the door for the Billikens, picking up the save by whiffing two of the three batters he faced.
