Details
• Saint Louis closed to within a run by scoring three times in the eighth inning, but Kennesaw State held on for a 5-4 win Sunday afternoon.
• The Billikens fell to 1-3, while the Owls improved to 3-1.

Scoring Plays
• Kennesaw State broke the ice in the bottom of the third on Jesse Sherrill's two-out RBI single.
• The Owls doubled the lead in the fourth when a run crossed on a throwing error.
• Kennesaw State made it 5-0 with three tallies in the fifth on consecutive two-out RBI singles by Tyler Tolve, Skylar McPhee and Garrett Hodges.
• The Billikens got on the board with a run in the sixth when Matt Happ smacked an RBI single.
• In the eighth, Tyler Fogarty singled to drive in the first run. Happ collected his second RBI on a fielder's choice, and Cam Redding's bases-loaded walk with two outs made it a one-run game.
