THE BASICS
• Ciaja Harbison tallied 14 points and Myriama Smith Traore pulled down 17 rebounds, leading Saint Louis to its seventh-straight victory, a 57-45 Atlantic 10 Conference win at Davidson Friday evening in Davidson, N.C.
• The Billikens went on a 21-4 run over a span in the second and third quarters, including ending the second period on an 11-0 spurt.
• SLU is on its first 7-game win streak since the 2016-17 season.
• Saint Louis improved to 11-3 overall, 9-3 in league play, while Davidson dropped to 8-12, 5-9.
FIRST QUARTER
• Davidson held the Billikens in check to begin the game, holding a lead of 10-6 at 3:40.
• Saint Louis kept the Wildcats scoreless the remainder of the period, using a 7-0 run to pull ahead 13-10 after one.
SECOND QUARTER
• Harbison put the Billikens up 17-13 at 8:07, but a 6-0 spurt from Davidson had the Wildcats back in front 19-17.
• After Davidson took a 24-21 advantage, the Billikens ended the half on an 11-0 run, including five points from Julia Martinez, to lead 32-26 at the break.
THIRD QUARTER
• Harbison put SLU up 42-30 with a layup at 6:33, pushing the Billikens' run to 21-4.
• The Wildcats answered with a quick 6-0 spurt of their own to make it 42-36.
• Martinez and Smith Traore then grabbed back-to-back offensive boards for SLU, eventually leading to a Rachel Kent three-pointer, giving the Billikens a 45-36 advantage.
FOURTH QUARTER
• Martinez netted the first three points for the Billikens in the period. Her free throw at 8:39 put SLU up 48-38.
• Harbison gave SLU it's largest advantage of the game at 57-43 with a pair of free throws at 1:14.
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Harbison posted her 10th-straight double-digit scoring effort, collecting a team-high 14 points, along with a season-best five rebounds.
• Smith Traore grabbed 17 rebounds, one shy of her career mark of 18 from last season at Cincinnati. She added nine points, one block one steal and one assist.
• Kent went 2-for-5 from behind the arc on her way to 11 points and five rebounds.
• Martinez neared a double-double, scoring 10 points and pulling down a career-high nine rebounds. She also added a game-best three assists.
• Brooke Flowers grabbed 10 rebounds for the fourth-straight contest, adding seven points and three blocks.
