THE BASICS
• Sadie Wise slammed a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Saint Louis an 11-9 win over Loyola Chicago Sunday on the final day of the Billiken Spring Tournament.
• SLU, which won four of five games in the tournament, improved to 5-8 on the season. Loyola Chicago fell to 4-11.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Loyola scored a run in the top of the first inning.
• Saint Louis answered with two runs in its half of the first. Alyssa Chavez singled in the first run, and the second scored on Kayla Swiderski's groundout.
• The Billikens made it 3-1 in the second on a throwing error.
• Loyola evened the score at 3-3 with a pair of tallies in the third and took a 4-3 lead in the fifth.
• SLU grabbed the lead right back in its fifth. Swiderski tied it with an RBI single, and another runner crossed on an error.
• The Ramblers answered with a four-run sixth to go on top 8-5.
• The Billikens pulled even with three in their sixth. Chavez blasted a two-run triple, and Swiderski delivered another game-tying RBI single.
• Loyola went in front with a run in the seventh, setting the stage for Wise's heroics.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
• Kat Lane was 2-for-4.
• Maria Connell and Kristi Stevenson had a single apiece.
• Gabbie Kowalik tied the Saint Louis single-game record for walks with four – all intentional.
• Billiken pitchers issued only one walk.
