ST. LOUIS – Columbia College scored early in the second half to upset the No. 17 Saint Louis Billikens 1-0 at Robert R. Hermann Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Billikens dipped to 4-2 with the loss. The NAIA Cougars improved to 9-2 on the season.

Columbia College's Jake Totty tallied the game-winner in the 46th minute. Cougar goalie Liam Gibbs made five saves for the shutout victory.

The Billikens put the pressure on late in search of the game-tying goal. With 11 minutes left in regulation,
Simon Becher rang a shot square off the post. The SLU pressure continued into the final minute of play when
Mason Leeth put a shot toward goal, but Gibbs was there for the save to secure the win for Columbia College.

SLU out-shot the Cougars 14-10 and had an 11-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Saint Louis returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Lipscomb (3-1 entering tonight's match at Belmont) at Hermann Stadium in a 6 p.m. kickoff.
