DAYTON, Ohio – Saint Louis posted a 4-2 victory over Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Duquesne in a neutral-site match Saturday.
 
The Billikens took a 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point. Elizabeth Mintusova and Mariona Perez defeated Margot Pessy and Meredith Lee 7-6 at No. 1. Jessica Stefan and Mya Spencer were 6-2 winners over Ellen Shanahan and Daniela Latoni at No. 2.
 
In singles, Mintusova topped Pessy 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1; Perez beat Shanahan 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2; and Spencer downed Lee 7-5, 6-0 at No. 4.

"We played strong doubles today," head coach Justin Stuckey said. "This really helped us get going for our singles. Once we got to singles, it was great to see us continue the momentum to get the win."
