THE BASICS
•Two late-inning rallies and the pitching of Chloe Wendling carried Saint Louis to a 5-1 victory over George Mason Sunday, giving the Billikens a 3-games-to-1 win in the Atlantic 10 Conference series.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
•George Mason scored its only run in the bottom of the first inning.
•Saint Louis pulled even in the third. Allie Herron led off with a triple and scored on Kat Lane's two-out single.
•The score remained 1-1 until the sixth. Kelsey Etling plated a run with a sacrifice fly, and Kristi Stevenson's RBI double made it 3-1 Billikens.
•The Bills tacked on two insurance tallies in the seventh. Lane tripled with one out and scored on a Sadie Wise single. Wise later scored on Gabbie Kowalik's sacrifice fly.
 
BILLIKEN NOTABLES
•After allowing two hits in the first inning, Wendling gave just two more the rest of the way in picking up her fourth win of the season. She struck out six and did not walk a batter.
•Stevenson had two doubles.
•Alyssa Chavez collected a single.
