• Saint Louis split Friday afternoon's double-header with George Mason, falling 7-3 in game one and defeating the Patriots 6-4 in game two in Atlantic 10 Conference play at Spuhler Field in Fairfax, Va.
• The Billikens moved to 9-20 on the season and 1-1 in the league, while George Mason went to 8-13, 1-1.
GAME ONE SCORING
• Tyler Fogarty scored on a wild pitch in the top of the third inning, putting the Billikens on the board first.
• George Mason answered with two runs in its half if the third frame, scoring on an RBI triple, followed by a groundout.
• The Billikens took advantage of three fielding errors in the top of the fourth inning and scored two runs to take a 3-2 lead.
• GMU posted five runs in the bottom of the fourth, scoring on three RBI doubles and two RBI singles.
GAME ONE NOTABLES
• Fogarty smacked two of the Billikens' four hits, finishing 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored.
• Kyle Fitzgerald went 1-3 with one run scored.

GAME TWO SCORING
• Following a lead-off triple to start the game by Colten Schild, Cam Redding recorded a sacrifice fly and gave the Billikens a 1-0 lead.
• Fitzgerald's two-RBI double and Fogarty's two-RBI triple in the top of the third extended SLU's advantage to 5-0.
• Schild doubled for his third hit of the ballgame and drove in Colin Bergmann in the top of the fourth inning.
• George Mason got on the board with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth frame.
• The Patriots added three more tallies in the bottom of the sixth, scoring on a two-RBI single and an RBI single.

• Schild led the Billikens with three hits, going 3-4 with one double, one triple, one RBI and two runs scored.
• Fitzgerald and Fogarty posted two RBIs each.
