EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – No. 21 Saint Louis scored late in the first half and added two insurance goals midway through the second in a 3-0 exhibition win over SIUE Saturday night at Korte Stadium.
 
Mattyn Summers, assisted by Emily Groark, gave the Billikens the only goal they would need in the 35th minute.
 
Groark netted a goal of her own in the 63rd minute, with an assist from Anna Walsh. Abbie Miller found the back of the net just moments later, making it 3-0 with an unassisted tally in the 65th minute.
 
Emily Puricelli and Natalie Phelps combined for the shutout.
 
The Billikens play their second and final exhibition Saturday, Aug. 14, hosting Evansville. Kickoff at Robert R. Hermann Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
