RECAP
Jenna Klaers, Josefina Perez and Brooke Mason each found the back of the cage for the first time this season, but Saint Louis fell 7-3 to Ohio Saturday afternoon at Grant Field in Iowa City, Iowa.

The Billikens moved to 0-5 on the season, while Ohio improved to 2-5.

Klaers got the scoring started in the game, tallying late in the 11th minute of the first quarter.

The Bobcats responded with a goal less than 30 seconds later, and they added two more in the second quarter to take a 3-1 lead into the half.

Ohio posted a goal in the third quarter and three more in a span of two minutes in the fourth period, to hold a 7-1 advantage.

With less than five minutes remaining in the game, Perez scored her first collegiate goal, followed by Mason tallying for the first time this season.

Up next, SLU will visit No. 2-ranked Iowa on Sunday, Sept. 12. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. on Big 10 Network +.
