AMHERST, Mass. – No. 24 Saint Louis scored twice in the final eight minutes of regulation Saturday afternoon to move past Massachusetts 3-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener at Rudd Field in Amherst, Mass.
The Billikens remain unbeaten on the year at 4-0-3 overall and 1-0-0 in A-10 play. UMass falls to 4-2 and 0-1 in the league.

Simon Becher scored for the Billikens.
John Klein registered an assist on both second-half goals.
UMass went on top first with a 44
th minute goal, but SLU struck right back to equalize just before halftime. Bruch scored his first goal off the year on a
Kevin Komodi assist with nine second remaining in the opening half to make it 1-1 at the break.
That remained the score for much of the second half before a wild final 11 minutes of regulation. UMass broke the stalemate with a goal in the 79
th minute.
Once again, SLU equalized quickly. Just a little more than four minutes later, Keller got his first goal of the season on a long strike to the far post off the Klein assist.
Then, less than two minutes later, Becher scored the game-winner, also on an assist from Klein, for the 3-2 final.
The Billikens maintained a 14-9 edge in shots (7-4 on goal) and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Saint Louis is back in action Tuesday when it hosts Central Arkansas at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
